- US$5.00 per number, per month - the rental. The first month is charged as soon as the purchase is confirmed, and every month after that on the renewal date shown against the number. It is charged whether or not you make any calls.
- US$0.0040 per minute of calling - the telephony charge, billed on 30-second blocks for both outbound and inbound. Vocily pays the carrier for the traffic and passes it through. See Voice call pricing.
Renting is Owner-only. It spends real money on Vocily’s provider account, and
releasing is irreversible. Admins can still allocate a rented number to a workspace
once it exists.
Before you buy
Indian numbers require an accepted compliance application before you can buy - this is a regulatory requirement, not a Vocily one. See Compliance. You can browse available numbers before filing anything. Searching reserves nothing and needs no paperwork; only the purchase is gated.Buy a number
1
Open Phone Numbers → Organization
In Organization phone numbers, select Buy number.
2
Choose the business
Pick the compliance application the number will be bought under. The number belongs
to that business permanently.
3
Find a number
Filter by region, or type a prefix the number should start with. Results load twenty
at a time - use Load more to see further into the provider’s inventory.
4
Choose a workspace
Assign it straight away, or leave it in the organization pool.
5
Confirm
The button shows the monthly price before you commit.
After the purchase
The number appears in the list with the source Rented, its monthly price, and its renewal date. From there it behaves exactly like a number from your own account: assign it to a workspace, and attach an agent from the agent’s Deploy tab.Renewal
Each rented number is charged US$5.00 to your organization wallet every month on its renewal date. Renewal charges appear in Transactions alongside call usage. Keep the wallet funded so renewals go through - see Auto-recharge.Release a number
Releasing gives the number back to the provider and stops the monthly charge. Because it cannot be undone, release asks you to type the full number to confirm, and refuses while an agent, a default outbound number, or a live batch still points at it. Detach those first. A released number stays visible in your history as a billing record. Tick Released in the Status column filter to see them.Rented or your own?
