# Call campaigns

> Bulk outbound calling: dial a list of numbers with an agent, tracked from launch to completion.

A call campaign dials a list of phone numbers with one agent, so you can reach many people
without calling one by one - appointment reminders, payment follow-ups, or outreach at scale.

## Before you start

You need:

* An agent that's built and tested - see [Building agents](/building-agents/overview) and
  [Test](/test/overview).
* At least one active phone number to call from - see [Phone numbers](/phone-numbers/overview) if you
  haven't connected one.
* A list of recipients, either as a CSV file you already have or one built from the agent's
  template during setup.

## How a campaign is built

1. **[Build the campaign](/call-campaigns/building-a-campaign)** - name it, pick
   the agent and calling numbers, upload or build the recipient list, map any variables the agent
   needs, and set optional retry rules and a call time window.
2. **Launch now, or schedule it** for a future time.
3. **[Manage it while it runs](/call-campaigns/managing-a-campaign)** - pause, resume, or stop it,
   watch progress and per-recipient results, and export the outcome.

## Who can do what

Members can build, launch, and manage campaigns in workspaces they can access. Viewers can see
campaigns but not create or control them. See
