# Auto-recharge

> Automatically add credits when the organization wallet drops below a threshold.

Auto-recharge helps keep your organization wallet funded. When the available balance
drops below your chosen threshold, Vocily can add credits using a card or UPI AutoPay
mandate.

## How auto-recharge works

Auto-recharge uses three settings:

| Setting | Meaning |
| ------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Recharge amount** | The wallet credits added each time auto-recharge runs. Choose an amount from USD 5 to USD 125. |
| **Low-balance threshold** | The balance level that triggers a recharge attempt. |
| **Max recharges per day** | The maximum number of automatic recharges allowed per day: 1 to 3. |

The threshold cannot be greater than the recharge amount. The daily limit prevents
repeated automatic charges if usage spikes or payment attempts fail.

## Set up auto-recharge

Owners can configure auto-recharge from **Billing → Auto-recharge**.

At launch, AutoPay requires a complete India billing profile, INR billing, and a valid
billing contact phone number.

1. Choose the recharge amount or enter a custom credit amount.
2. Choose **Card AutoPay** or **UPI AutoPay** as the payment method.
3. Set the low-balance threshold.
4. Set the maximum recharges per day.
5. Save the settings and complete the payment/AutoPay setup.

The setup can optionally add an initial wallet credit; if selected, it defaults to the
configured recharge amount. The recharge preview shows the wallet credit amount, charge
currency, credit value, GST, and total payable. The page also shows whether automatic
recharge is on or off and whether an active payment mandate is connected.

## Recharge attempts

Recent attempts show whether auto-recharge succeeded, failed, or is still processing.

If an attempt fails, check the payment method and billing profile. You can still add
credits manually from the Wallet section.

## Disable auto-recharge

Owners can turn automatic recharge off from the Auto-recharge section or remove the
payment authorization.

Disabling auto-recharge stops future automatic top-ups. It does not remove existing
wallet credits.
